Proteus - Indie Game

Proteus
is an indie or retro game which you can buy
for ten bucks.
The game is created by an individual programmer, together with some friends.
It's really awesome. You wander around in an ethereal dreamscape and just enjoy the sights and
the sounds of the superbly beautiful game. The music is in-game music and also fantastic. Great work!

Magento Search Function

A lot of people do not really understand how search functions work. They are just complaining that the search is not working. This happens for instance in the world of webshops like magento, because the basic search logic uses an OR condition to combine search keywords. Unfortunately, the customer is most of the time expecting an AND condition. So i would recommend to change that code snippet in your magento core engine. For version 1.6.0 you have to replace all occurence of OR through AND in the following files:

app/code/core/Mage/CatalogSearch/Model/Resource/Fulltext.php (2x)
app/code/core/Mage/CatalogSearch/Model/Resource/Query.php (1x)
app/code/core/Mage/CatalogSearch/Model/Resource/Search/Collection.php (2x)

Shadowrun Returns

Jordan Weisman, the creator of Shadowrun, is back and Shadowrun Returns (for Apple & Android tablets and PCs) is the game that Shadowrun fans have been waiting for a long time. A graphically rich 2D turn-based single player game with deep story interaction, meaningful character development, and highly-contextual tactical combat, Shadowrun Returns is not only going to make some old geeks (like us) very happy but it will introduce new players to a dynamic gaming universe that is beloved around the world.

Created almost 25 years ago, Shadowrun remains one of the most original and cherished role-playing settings. The game world’s origin story mashes-up the dystopian Cyberpunk future of a Blade Runner with the high fantasy creatures and races of a Lords of the Rings in an organic way that produces iconic characters, environments, and situations.

Philipp Poisel - Wie soll ein Mensch das ertragen

Philipp Poisel is a great music artist from germany. Lot's of good songs... this is just one example:

Here some other cool songs from Philipp. Check it out, really good music with serious lyrics and not every song is so melancholic as the first two. Song three and four are good mood music and some say it has a certain similarity to Jack Johnson.

It's not sure if this is a kind of trailer for the new WipeOut game from Sony or if really some researchers created this work, inspired by the game. With this new technology, they hope to revolutionize the world of motor transport; Maybe in a near future they could assist to a real Wipe'out race ;)
